The Loved Old Matriarch

Meet little old Lulu, this sweet old mare arrived back in summer 2012. The reason Lulu ended up at Thorncroft was because her owner was moving away and due to Lulu being old and arthritic, she knew that if Lulu came to Thorncroft she would have a loving home for life.

Lulu is now living her days out with the 'out ponies' and is thriving, she is always the first to come cantering over at the sight of a feed bucket, every now and then she enjoy a mooch down to the yard for some TLC where she is groomed for hours by the kids and she is loved by every member of the yard.

Lulu took on the harsh winter we had last year head on and came out the other side as happy and as healthy as she was during the summer of last year. She will always be a favorite at Thorncroft kids and adults alike.
